About

Art for the
beautifully

lived-in.

Loose, expressive acrylic paintings inspired by botanicals, collected objects, and the quiet wildness of life.

Thirty years of design.
A new way of seeing

After a career shaping color, concept, and product in fashion, Holly Burningham picked up a paintbrush—and found a language that felt entirely her own. Her work carries a designer’s instinct for composition with the looseness of someone learning to let go.

“Painting taught me to breathe, pause, and see the familiar differently.”

My Vision

updated artist studio tattoo.png

I’m increasingly drawn to the imperfect moments in a painting—the loose edge, the unexpected mark, the color that wasn’t part of the plan.

Those are often the places where the painting begins to feel alive.

This is a reflection of the way people live their lives in a world striving for perfection, art can live in the spaces where life isn't so perfectly put together.
